In creating the logo for Discs for Dads, I wanted to capture elements that speak both to the strength and accessibility of this father-focused organization. I incorporated a "D" seamlessly into the design of a disc golf basket, blending the initial with an iconic part of the sport. The shield element represents strength and resilience, giving the logo a sense of stability and protection, which aligns with the mission of dads everywhere. To balance this, I selected a typeface that’s athletic yet approachable, embodying a spirit of camaraderie and encouragement. The result is a design that’s both bold and welcoming, resonating with the community-focused nature of D4D.
